Our History

Over 40 years ago Dr. Dejager and Dr. Rulka established our Dental office very close to the current location. Over the years, they grew the practice on the pillars of trust and friendship. Dr. Hehn purchased Dr. Dejager’s office in 2004 and worked alongside of him until 2008, when Dr. Dejager retired. In 2019, Dr. Rulka retired and Dr. Izadnegahdar joined the practice to continue the care of the patients. We are honoured to be serving the wonderful community of patients in our practice, some of whom have been there for all these years as well as the patients that have joined us in the more recent years.

Education & Prevention

We strive to provide “oral health care” vs. “disease care”. That’s why we focus on thorough exams – checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams and taking x-rays and photographs when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, sealants and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, we are also concerned about your health. A review and update of your medical history can help us stay informed of your overall health, any new medications and any illnesses that may impact your oral health as well as oral conditions that can impact your overall health.

Uncompromising Safety

Infection control in our office is also very important to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), Canadian Center for Occupational Health and Safety, and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) as well as BC centre of Disease Control (BCCDC).

We attend dental lectures, meetings and dental conventions to stay informed of new techniques, the latest products and the newest equipment that a modern dental office can utilize to provide state-of-the-art dental care. Also as members of professional dental associations helps us to stay abreast of the changes and recommendations for our profession.

We also have nitrous oxide available to assist those with dental anxieties. Our entire team is dedicated to providing you with excellent, personalized care and service to make your visits as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Should a dental emergency occur, we make every effort to see and care for you as soon as possible.

Parking Info

Patient can park in London Drugs parking lot. 4870 Kingsway and we will reimbursement up to 2 hours of $4 in total.
